Ella & Remi

Ella Rice was the recipient of Sunup Ranch’s 2018 donation to AQHA’s Young Horse Development Program. Ella teamed up with Dawsons Drifter, a gelding by Zans Tyree Drifter.

Ella and "Remi" won First Place in the competition and received an AQHA scholarship and buckle. Ella continued her work with Remi, including attending MQHA Boot Camp, interning at Sunup Ranch, and more horsemanship.

Sunup has donated several foals to YHD, which pairs Ranching Heritage Breeders with qualified youth recipients who train and care for a yearling, documenting their work throughout the year.
